Hi guys, I took this picture last year in Namche, and my F was at 9, so to high to add more emphasis on the porter, so with lightroom3, I uses the paintbruse to darken the background. I think it work out pretty well, I was woundering wath you were thinking.

We have had a lot of people joining lately that just post one photo.. and then post links. It is almost like they are looking for "hits" on thier sites.. and they seldom come back, and never contribute to the forum in a worthwhile manner.

Are you one of "those" people? ;)

Charlie, I almost don't think we need to ask that question, but I suppose it was worth a try ;)

You mean my sarcasm didn't get though? Hmmm.. must need more practice! ;)

Interesting picture as how a porter would carry such a load. Not particurally well composed, as the background is too busy. I would have used a lower angle to focus in on the porter more. I'm sure his face would have spoken volumes. The dish would have filled out the rest of the frame nicely.

To me the background areas look unnaturally burned in, the effect is too obvious.

That is one huge wok to carry up that big hill.

I'll visit your link later when you've posted up more work here on this forum.
