Was experimenting with the "M" settings on my camera while watching the hockey game on TV...

I took this while experimenting and found it pretty cool.

C&C if you would...

I'm sorry, but I fail to see the 'cool' part, looks like a random tv picture lol.

and bottom corner of tv is clipped. jus'saying :P

It would have been much better from a different angle.
 
I found it interesting that the noise level appears much lower in my original post then the ones I took in the arena with a slightly faster ISO setting... Mind you, my target was much farther away in the arena and I was using a different lens... I used the 75-300 in the arena and my 17-85 in the "Picture in Picture" shot...

I know this is not a good composition... I just wanted to show the noise difference... And ask for advice on how to resolve this... And also... Could the different lense cause that big of a difference?

Please forgive the missed focus here... I just discovered the AI Servo setting after the fact. I will experiment with it on my next attept to do sports.
