lovely! Everything in the right place and a nice goldish tone at the sea.
Great composition.

I fall in love with this image.... Is that fully spontaneous, or did they walk in as per your direction? That bird increases its power exponentially!!!
:D

Excellent! What makes pictures of people walking look "right" and proper? The answer lies in the positioning of their feet...if the feet are shown lifted a bit, as they are in this photo, the walking looks very good. People shown with both feet flat on the ground tend to look less than optimal. These two are walking step-for-step, so that adds harmony, in a very powerful way! This photo shows excellent timing of the shutter release moment! Well-done!

To clone out the bird or not? That is the question.

I love it! Thank you!

No, Joe. The bird is an essential part of this composition. And it is in the right place.

I love "structural filters"--as I like to call them, both in photography and cinematography.

Wow, thanks everyone for the likes and comments! Overwhelming response here, much appreciated and not expected!

Thanks Josh. This is the first photo I've been nominated for POTM, so thanks!

I'm digging it.

Right place at the right time! I have 3 or 4 images like this, each time they are in a different "frame" within the frame. I liked this one best, as they are walking into the image.

Thanks thanks! Hadn't thought of that before, but it makes a lot of sense!

I kinda like the little guy!

I love it! Thank you!

I do too FanBoy. Although I hated Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, the cinematics of that film had a lot of these "structural filters" which were quite visually interesting.

I'll grant you the unexpected part. Sometimes good fortune just falls into our laps when we least expect it. This is a shot that made me smile immediately, something that has occured only a few times since I joined this forum. You might not have had the same reaction because you were the one holding the camera, but enjoy the success when it happens.
