I am open to any and all insight.

I need to learn about filters, manual camera settings for a Cannon EOS Digital, and shutter speeds. It is tought to read through the manual, is there any assignments or exercises that I could learn through hands on experience?

They all look underexposed. Picture of the kid is cute and nicely composed. The flowers are funky- was it raining when you took them? The dead-centered shots aren't ideal... just kind of "yeah, ok, subject." The tennis ball with snow on it is funny.

How would I correct the underexposer issue for pics in the future. I took the pics of the flowers after it rained. You're right about the center shot but couldn't get the water clarity from a good angle like the red flowers.

Photos lovely. I like the 1st one though. I love flowers. That photos seemed to be so alive.

the first one is nice but it seems like the focus spots are all over the place. i like the third and fourth ones and the kid should be lightened up big time
