Very nice set! I got a few Palm Warblers while I was down there; first time I saw one, I just got a glimpse of its back end and thought it was a Yellow-Rumped Warbler. Around here, if its rear is yellow, the ID is just about a foregone conclusion! But then I got a look at the rest of the bird and realized it was something different than what I was used to.

Hunter, very nice images. I figure you must have a lot of patience to catch these little guys as I find them, small birds one of the hardest subjects to capture - they just won't sit still long enough.

Thanks Sharon. I usually get Yellow-rumps too but for some reason this year I'm not seeing them in my yard. I go 5 miles to the coast and they are all over the place.

One of my rules of thumb... "take a lot got get a little", they move so much and so fast you have to keep shooting in hopes to get one that is a good shot for composition.

Sounds like a good rule to follow!
