[The wind-up:]
It's often been noted that pinhole cameras have, in their warm, fuzzy way, great DOF. This is often explored in landscape 'shots' in which the foreground is used as an element in the composition. Many are downright striking -- a mellow tip-o'-the-hat to the f64 group.
[And the fast pitch:]
I don't think that the characteristics of pin-holery have been explored in depth [Sorry!] with relationship to the 'macro' world. It's interesting -- at least to me. I'm going there in the next few weeks with my trusty 8x10.
Anyone interested/amused/bored out of their skulls/excited?
