~ The Approach ~ I shot this series of images while scouting for Canada geese yesterday morning.

~ Making The Swing ~ Always a thrill to see Canada geese banking into a turn in reaction to one's calling and a well placed rig of decoys.

~ Committed ~ Wings cupped and landing gear deployed in the form of feet down, the birds make a rapid descent in glide mode. Nothing quite like hearing the wind resonating through the primary feathers of their wings as they soar closely above our heads and a cacophony of honing ensuring as they pitch into the decoys.
