Gorgeous work! I love these!

Fascinated by your process. When you say "green tea toner" are you referring to a product, or the dyes from the green tea leaves?

I've heard of staining/dyeing with organic materials like tea, coffee, wine - but not turmeric or paprika.

What beautiful results.

Mr. Lee's Green Tea - 5 bags in 250 ML of boiling water, soak for ten minutes then add 1000 ML of water, wait until it has cooled down to warmish, place the cyanotype face down, agitate a few times then let is sit anywhere from 20 minutes to two hours. If you first bleach the print with 1/4 teaspoon of borax in 1200 ml water until the print lightens significantly, and do the toning in the green tea, the print will take on a dark maroon-ish tone. Just about any herb will impart a color into the cyanotype print.
The "explosions" were made by putting random globs of soap bubbles over the botanicals, covering with Saran Wrap and then covering with another piece of glass that is clamped down with bull clips. Two hours out in a bright sun, develop in a water bath then adda teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide to the water, rinse for 3-4 minutes, hang up to dry.
