hey friends,
this was a pic that was, obviously, pretty blown out, as it was taken at midday during the last NH heatwave:lol:

i thought i would give it a run thru my recently installed exposure filter from alien skin (for PS CS2)

i picked yellowed polachrome with grain for the film type.
it certainly doesnt save the photo, as it was pretty bad to begin with, but i was quite pleased with the tone and feel of the resulting image.

it's all stuff that can be done by hand in photoshop, but it was cool to just pick a film from a dropdown list.

any thoughts?

oh and, the cheesy polaroid 'frame' is something i added after the fact...so that wasnt part of the filter.
*edit* the scratches were also added by me...so that wasnt part of the filter either lol

thanks for looking!

The filter does help the picture. What I would do is to then go in and whiten his eyes....the filter makes them look somewhat yellow. I like the picture though....nice job.
