45 minutes is probably a little soon for a bump Rosy... The lighting doesn't look too bad in these, 'though the whites seem just a touch hot. What was your set-up?

1st - lighting from above, fill on camera left
2nd - OCF left and right, right with more power
3rd - same as 2 but OCF right was stronger

I'm just playing around seeing how the lighting works

Try narrow the aperture, and see how you like it. Some areas are blurry.

To get more depth of field, I'd stop down to f/8, or maybe even f/11.

Use this, or, if you have a "smartphone" get one of the many similar applications for that. This, and a measuring tape will ensure that you don't shoot shallow.
