Pleasant Surprise

I was taking a picture of a strange, beetle like bug on wild grass and apparently it flew away and this young couple walked into the frame. I thought for sure the ugly beetle would be there, pleasant surprise. It's probably not a good photo but I like it just for the surprise.

The beetle creature was rather large. Never seen it before. I think it was a palmetto bug but not sure. I looked on the web and it was the closest looking I could find but more prehistoric looking.

I like it too. A very serendipitous catch. Would love to see the insect.
