Please critique my bridge and sunset

I'd certainly crop out the trees at the bottom, and use a tripod since it's a long exposure.

With landscapes, even during the day with good light, you should use always use a tripod, small aperture (f/16 if you can manage it, though f/11 can work also), and low ISO. For a good landscape, everything in the frame needs to be sharp. If you can manage high shutter speeds (assuming small aperture and low ISO), over around 1/1000, you might be ok without a tripod. However, I never risk it and always use a tripod.

In addition to that, consider getting a remote shutter release and using mirror lockup as well. If you don't have a remote, turn on the self timer and use that. It will ensure no camera shake due to you touching it.

no, tripod just hand held. So longer expose with tripod would help?
