Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello!

I've recently gotten into photography and the editing aspect of it, yet I'm quite confused on how these photos were edited.

The photos appear faded and slightly desaturated but I'm quite unsure how to get this effect!

TPF rules prohibit the posting of images to which a person does not hold either permission or copyright. We have edited this post to include LINKS to the images from their original location, which is acceptable.

Help?!

Thanks!

If they're not yours (unlikely since you're asking how they were done) you need to provide a link to them, posting with out permission is a copyright violation and makes the Mods itch. ;)

Thread moved to Graphics Programs and Photo Gallery

Posting with out permission from the copyright owner(s) MAY be a federal copyright law violation.

It is however a violation of TPF FAQs. Photography Forum & Digital Photography Forum FAQ

Links are always OK.

Posting copyrighted photos is OK, if they are accompanied by, and posted in compliance with, a valid use license. Many images online have one of the several Creative Commons use license variations.
Some of those require author attribution.

There about a dozen ways to get the same thing in photoshop, so there is really no telling what the photog actually did. A quick easy way would be to make a new layer, set it to white, and turn down opacity to taste. Just a quick and dirty way. Like I said, there's a ton of ways. Experiment and find a way you like.

You can do the MWAC special to it also... desaturate and add yellow... that FAKE vintage look....
