Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Well i snapped a photo of this bird today wile i was wondering around and i just cant seam to figure out what it is. I believe it is some type of wood pecker but its markings are not even close to any wood peckers i have seen and i thought it might me a Juvenal but from my research i have not found any that look like this.

Ok thanks

Ok great thanks i have never seen one here before so i did not know what it was.

Yea shot them with my Canon 400 f/2.8 my favorite birding lens.

Northern flickr - male (the black marks on the side of the head around the "cheek" area - call as moustache)

Very nice pair of shots even in the strong sunlight! Great that you got that looking over the shoulder type shot with the second, esp as the shade over the bird has very nicely got rid of the harsh sun and given a very clean exposure over the whole bird.

Yea i all ways do a little photoshoping to my images.

But but i have a group of about 60 shots of him, One of the reasons i like my 1DX for 12/FPS spray and pray but with out the need to pray, But the first shot AF was is a little off as in AI servo second image is set to -2 focus for speed and image 1 is set to +2 focus priority and i did not notice it. But i shot them at @ 400mm F/2.8 and 1/6000 and ISO 100 the sun was killer bright i was just happy he was in the shade of the trees.

Northern Flicker, as others have said. Lovely bird and nice shots!
