Please help me decide on a Wedding Photog for a last min shoot

Having a website, has nothing to do with taking quality pictures, or knowing your way around a camera. While Flickr might make one assume that someone isn't as professional/skilled as the guy with a nice polished website ( thats pretty much a marketing/promotion lesson to be learned ) the fact of the matter is, there are many people on Flickr who put both of these guys to shame, and probably put half the people on this forum to shame. It would be silly to judge someone purely on that. ( now if this guy was hyping himself as some uber-professional and only had a Flickr page, then let the roasting begin haha. But we don't know anything about these guys other than what we have been presented with and asked to choose. )

With that said, the second guy clearly has a portfolio aimed more at wedding photography. In contrast, the Flickr guy looks like he is also showing off all of his work as opposed to trying to pick his best/niche shots to use as as promotional portfolio.

One very big fact that I wouldn't overlook, is that the Flickr guy seems to have a lot of experience shooting people of color. ( is that even the PC term anymore? ) So if this wedding involves people other than Caucasions, it may be better to atleast inquire with the first guy to see some specific wedding samples if available.

Buy a bunch of disposables and give them to the family should net the same results as these two.
