Please help with tiff format

A client wants to purchase one of my images (yeah!), and wants in in tiff format. No problem, I have several options for changing the format (image originally shot in RAW). But, once the image is converted to tiff, it's still 8.5 megs (RAW file was only 7.7) and I can't e-mail it via my local ISP or via .mac . Could someone please help? Thanks! p.s. I'm a mac person.

You can still use Stuffit on it afterwards. Did you choose one of the compressed TIFF formats? LZW and ZIP are lossless, unlike JPG. It will still be big, though.

Thanks, I ended up joining a file sharing website. I upload to it and the client can download. We'll see if this is successful.
