Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Okay, I have a problem. If I edit an image in Photoshop Elements 9, I get a green cast to the photo. Does anyone know why this is? I am usually using Elements to remove something from a photo with the healing tool. Please help!!!!!

Examples: These were taken at the same time, but one was edited in PSE9 and the other in Lightroom. I don't do anything special just save it as a jpeg from PSE9.

What color space are you using?

its a very slight green cast. try turning the green down in hue/saturation

Could you post an example of the same photo edited in LR vrs editing in PSE? It looks like a basic white balance issue.

Its easily correctable in PSE9 using the "Adjust Color for Skin Tone"

Why its green after the conversion I don't know .. are you shooting in RAW and letting PS convert them? Make sure if you are shooting in RAW format your setting your white balance .. other than that I have no idea why its green .. but very correctable ..

What color space are you using?
It says sRGB does that make any sense? I know it has to be something with the way that it is saving it because it is not like that before it is saved, even when I am viewing it in PSE9 before saving it looks normal. Hope this helps!

More to the point is, what color space do you have Lightroom set to for saving. Lightroom's edit rendering engine color space is ProPhoto RGB, a very broad color gamut.

For the original capture, do you use Raw or JPEG?

Lightroom doesn't have anything to do with my problem, I was just using it to show everyone the difference between what the end result is when I edit in the two different programs. There is obviously something I am doing wrong when I save from photoshop, because everytime I make an edit in there this green cast is on my photos. The only difference between the two photos in my post is that I used photoshop to remove the edges of the plexiglass in the first photo. The awful coloring is how all the photos are when I use photoshop. Is there a setting in photoshop that I need to change?

Oh and I use RAW.
