Pls give advice on which photo scanner to buy

I have thousands of photos I want to scan, so I need an auto document feeding scanner. I've read Kodak i1220 is great but its Windows-only and I'd much rather work on in Mac OS; also it reportedly has dust problems causing lines on the scans. I've read that Fujitsu 1550m operates get on Mac OS (at least until Snow Leopard and a fix is on the way) but is optimized for receipts and documents not photos.

If you have a system that works great on Mac OS and auto feeds, please let me know. THanks

That's one of the tradeoffs with being a Mac user.

Big companies like Kodak can't justify the time and expense of developing applications for such a small group of users.
