Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I went to point reyes the other day, got some phots that came out pretty sweet. I am wondering what people think about the contrast and composition. It seems that I commonly do not have enough saturation in my photos, and wondering if that hurts these photos. Also, for number two, is there too much negative space?

Thanks for looking!

Number one is pretty good. Maybe let those colors pop even more for better contrast between the foggy back and the colorful front.

Number two has indeed too much dead space at the top for my tast.

I personally like no 2 and I think that the barren space assists the mood of the shot - sultry and dramatic.

#1 - The photo did not visualize the title. I would like to see a darker and more mysterious tree area to make it a "walk of doom". You can do this with the adjustment tool in Camera Raw. #2 - maybe a portrait crop (2 x 3) with the rule of thirds in mind would improve it but I wouldn't crop the top part. It gives me that minimalism vibe and I love it. Those are just my opinion, photocist.

These are nice "for keeps" photos. Unfortunately you have some lint on your sensor and they show in both photos. You might need to clone some parts to remove the dirt. Got to clean that camera before you shoot again.

This may look a bit over exaggerated... however this is what I would do with the photo. Darken then fog and trees and make the bushes and the path pop more. You got a great composition it just looks kind of flat and to grey. Try doing what I did in adobe raw.

Just my 2 cents...

It was medium format film scanned, but thanks ^_^

I use photoshop to edit my photos, by the way. The titles I come up with should not be taken literally, but maybe that is something I should consider when I title the image. I really was going for that errie empty feelin with the second shot, so I am glad that you were able to get that from it.

@Nolan: That edit looks pretty good. I will keep that in mind when I take and edit more photos.

#1 is nice, #2 definitely rules!
