I think this was a good use of HDR b/c to get the mountains through the window properly exposed I had to underexpose the interior of the room and to get the room properly exposed the windows were blown out. This was a composition of 4 shots composed in a tiny free program for Mac OSX called HDRtist.

now that's a good reason to use hdr......i really like the balance of color between the windows and the room.....

Great shot showing off HDR nicely. I took the liberty of straightening the vertical. Any better?

Thanks for the compliment peeper
and
Bynx thanks for pointing that out ... im still pretty much a noob and still seem to have issues getting the camera level :/ even though that was WITH tripod lol

Its more to do with lens distortion than the angle the camera was held.

Looks very natural, well done

Interesting I find myself constantly having to straighten photos in aperture even tho I try to be very aware that I get my camera level / straight

Look at your original pic. The corner leans to the left from bottom to top. On the right however, the vertical leans to the right from bottom to top. So I had to push the sides in from the top only until they straightened out. Clearly not a camera holding problem.
