Poki: on a rainy day

I have a new D80, but I've been so busy I've barely gotten to use it any. Today, I have a few hours before work, but it's raining. So I thought I'd try it out on my friend, Poki. Poki is a 1 year old Egyptian Tortoise. She lives in a 4'X2' egyptian desert nestled in my computer room. Poki is awesome.

These are just a few "snapshots" I made while trying to learn how to use the manual setting. I cropped a couple of them and resized for the website, but that's it. Maybe slow the shutter speed down a bit?
