What is the way to take a picture of pond with moving water?

What kind of effect are you looking for? Did you want to see the reflection or make it clear? Did you want to capture/freeze the waters movement? Or just want help with the composition?

what i want to do is take picture of my koi. I have better luck taking picture of fish in tank than i do with pond. i also look to take a picture of reflection as well
