Sorry, I dont like this at all. The processing has made some pretty bad halos around the trees. The sky looks like a weird blue, that is casting a weird blue tint on the building, its tilting, and is just not appealing...to me anyway.

Lets see what some others say though.

do you think the velveti mode on camera is making the house white colour funny... i have tried to block it out in paint but no such luck.. can you fix it for me... please..?

this professional man today with a tripod said to try velveti mode cause the colours in tha sky was all wishy washy...and the ground was all dim.. and dreary.. do you think i should have left it alone.. and kept the camera on normal...

I've read here that most professionals say to not use "modes". Just shoot in RAW and forget the "modes" altogether. That way you can adjust the white balance in post without much difficulty.

Now to the framing: In the first shot, I think this would have been better to shoot over the bridge wall, leaving it out of the frame.

The second shot might have been better without that bright blue boat in the background. It is distracting to my eye.

Since this is local for you, try a shot from the path toward the bridge.

Another thought: Spend some more time getting the basics down pat before you worry about quasi-advanced techniques such as HDR. Like everything else, a good foundation in the basics makes for a better end result in the long run.

awww thanks everyone you are really helpful...

what i dont get is if i shoot in raw...and import the 3 raws directly in to photomatix.. i dont get the lens corrections applied... so ideally i need to open images in camera raw apply the lens corrections, and CA fixes, but the exposures are wrong then..how can i just fix lens corrections and CA before going in to photo matix...??? i is still learning about the scenes and third rules and all that so please be kind to me :-(

Open the RAW files in your editor of choice, make all of the corrections you want, export as .tif files and then create your HDR merge using the .tif files.
