Well after a good 2 days, me and my girlfriend finally finished the softbox. Ignore the straps on the fabric as that is temporary.

The 4 sides are from harder Styrofoam, held together by painters tape and aluminum brackets every 4-5 inches. The fabric is made from 2 old white t-shirts that where stitched by my gf. The bracket that connects to my old tripod is made completely out of scratch, a few parts bought at home depot but mostly creativity ;)

Haven't used it yet since its getting late so ill post some results tomorrow, in the main time enjoy the photos.

put away your sewing machine before you trip over it!!!!....lol. I have a folding softbox project i'm working on at the moment. Unfortunately, my wifes sewing machine somehow didn't end up here after the move. Not that I could use it anyway, but I was going to try!

Yeah definatly fun to work on, since this is my first one its not the most efficient but i plan on making a second improved version with tilt and folding capabilities! Thanks for the idea ;)

I'll give ya another one....for the frame, i used tent poles. You can pick up a tent pole repair kit at walmart that has poles, just need something to stick them into, i'll let ya figure that one out by yourself!
