I had a little spare time these last couple days so I shot a mini portfolio for TPF.

I think the first and third are the most interesting, that abstract everyday items the best; the third one seems to evoke a mood/feeling. The B&W is nicely done.

I like the composition, tones and textures in the first one. I like the way the line from the upper right object (window?) to the black triangle echoes the line from the lower right object to that little protuberance in the upper left.

The others are OK, but didn't grab me the same way.

The knife tip image is a great idea and its well executed but something about it throws me off. Perhaps a crop is in order? Some of that empty space taken out from the right and the bottom?

I dig the third one ... the texture in the table scratches and the stitching in the seam of the cloth.

I like that you dare go for the abstract and details in things, maybe experiment even more see where it takes you.

There's no rule that says what you take out need bear any relation to what I put in. Still. This set of images is intended to be apprehended together.
