Portfolio

I plan on sending out a application to a university for a degree in photography but I have a few questions about my portfolio first. Should I send a hard copy(in a actual portfolio case) or a digital copy(on cd)? Both are accepted but my real concern is if I send a hard copy will I get my portfolio back? Or if I send a hard copy should I just buy a cheaper case?

Why dont you phone them up first? If you find out that you wont get it back, which you should, then get a cheaper one. But not some tattered old thing, the presentation may help sway there decision. Good Luck!
