Same set up as the previous high key:
Canon 5D, Softbox High camera left with a reflector to camera right, strobe on white backdrop.

I would appreciate any feedback, but I am especially interested in whether the PP is within good taste. Thanks for looking.

I know nothing aout studio lighting macman.. but I just give you CC anyway.. I dont like how the lose hair looks. Either clone them out or maybe tweak your lighting?

What is grabbing your attention away from the eyes?

I think you're better off just reshooting.
The focus seems to be her lips, sort of.
You blurred out her skin way too much, looks very fake.
Hot spot on her face, and the edits of the hair makes it look even more artificial. Especially with that white background.
Next time have a clear focal point and don't overedit.

You're MUCH better at PP than I am.

But, from the perspective of someone ignorant of this aspect of photography, my opinion is that the OP's edit looks like it's been processed in a magazine fashion, but only for the face. So, the hair and face look odd together.

Schwetty's edit looks like it might be squeegee'd onto a billboard. Plus, there's a black blotch on the right side of the shot next to her cheek.

Is the depth of field usually that shallow for this kind of shot? The blurry hair and neck look a little odd.

heh.. yeah.. just quick dirty Liquify and clone edit. I never give 100% effort because :
1. it is a 72 ppi file
2. it is not my client

@robitussin - Thanks for the input. Ya, I need to pay more attention to hair. The big blotch is a shadow in her almost black hair.

Too much skin smoothing, and when the stray hair is removed, it looks like she is captured with a hairnet.
