Wonderful job. I think some soft lighting on the left would have been nice.

I think the glove on the right hand side of the image could benefit from a slight bit of dodging to lighten it up and show a bit of texture....it reads as inky blackness on my monitor, while the other glove on the left hand side shows detail--even though it is on the shadowed side of the picture. I like her expression and her overall look.

IMO I don't think so. It's clearly a shadow from her hair, and doesn't look distracting. In other words it doesn't look like it 'shouldn't' be there.
