I love this shot purely for the fact that it seems almost "fairytale". The bridge and trees behind the subjects and how beautiful both subjects are definitely helps too!!

Taken at IS0 3200, F/5.0, 1/250 SEC (BABY kept moving lol)
The smile on the woman's face and the wonder in the child's eyes captivated me immediately. There was no way I wasn't going to suggest for her to get this photo printed

I like the monotone. I feel like it works. It is the type of photo I would like to hang on my wall because it would just about go with everything.
The baby is so gorgeous, Perfect hair/face etc. Lovely.

These ones I actually think are fairly good. Not too much C&C here, but the first one, you could clone out the thumb on the bottom of the page, and maybe crop a bit of the empty space above their heads. #1 could also benifit for some fill flash to lighten the eyes and get some catch lights in them as well

It was pretty dark huh? To me the processing used too much of either clarity, contrast, or black.

It may seem silly lol, but I actually like the blacks
I dont add clarity to any of my photos (it makes them look over-processed in my opinion) but yes I did probably over-do it on the blacks (I dont know why I like blacks so much! LOL)

I would guess the irony in the statement is what is referred to. These images look very processed, so to say that you avoid "over-processed" seems strange. I would echo other posts and say that I don't like the detail that is lost by leaning too far into the blacks. Is that some vignetting I see as well?

Out of all the pics you've posted on all three of your accounts here, these are the best. I just can't get past the heavy handed editing, tho. I'd like to see a more straight forward edit.

You'd do well to burn in the area between the faces on #1. The fact that it's higher key than even her cheek is very distracting.

Not looking at the processing , I notice they are not looking at you at all, were you a second shooter on the side? If you have other family member near you have them right next to you so the kids will look your way.
