These were taken in June of 2000. It was too funny, the Russian president was in town and every where we went we ran afoul of his schedule .. we had to take a taxi to the train station because the bus schedule was changed due to his wife attending a concert at the palace LOL

Oh dear, her I must see photos taken by people who travelled halfway around the world of a place that is in my own country and I have never been there myself :blushing: .....
Both your pics of Sans Souci in Potsdam are very nice, Ladybear and AirVenture! October will be the time when I shall finally also see that castle with my own eyes (and the camera in front, in all likelihood

I loved walking around there. It was so beautiful ... we also went to a summer palace (not sure where it's been a few years) and another castle... I'll try to find the pictures and post them.... maybe LOL I was a lot younger then and it was basically point and shoot!
