I think in these, maybe a little less sky? The cloud cover doesn't draw enough interest, for me, to include that much of it. I think if you could get one of these with an interesting element in the foreground, maybe a nice silhouette with the colors that you have in #1.. or try out an HDR with the look of #2 to see what it does for you. It looks like you have some great sunsets and locations to work with.

I have to agree with shooterj as the sky has no real intrest in it.

I think # 2 might look better in black and white...
