practicing with kids

o.k so i'm working more on my photo's of children and as my own have had enough of me shoving a camera in their face i got some pics of my neices.

any advice is greatly appreciated. - all taken on a 50mm 1.4 lens

#1 ISO 100 1/125 sec F/2.8

#2 1/60 sec f/2.2 ISO 100

#3 1/100 sec ISO 100 f/4.0

I like the second one best too, but I like what you've done with backlighting in shot 3.
How did you get them to be so unselfconscious in front of the camera?

Pretty good captures but the first two look a little underexposed. Keep shooting.

thanks all. as for them being unselfconscious in front of the camera, these girls along with my step daughter love the camera! they are happy to have photo's taken all the time. Lucky for me as they will be getting it a lot!
