j/k. Mine is in the hands of one of my daughters who found old 33's and 45's to be seriously cool.


Now, did you find it like that, or was there a little scene management?

"Scene management" Yes, this was one of the rare cases in which I placed the item where I could photograph it. I found it in the shed behind it, along with hundreds of other stuff that I assume had been there gathering dust for decades. The shed was too cluttered for my photographic taste so I moved the player outside.

What's cool about this particular portable record player is that it was made sometime in the 50's, right when the first stereo records hit the market. Look at the notice under the cover:
