This is my first real photoshoot with a macro lens. I had wanted to shoot the prairie crocus for a while, and I was lucky to find a few blossoms on my trip to the lake.
1. A rare (for me) square frame
f/8 @ 60 mm, 1/640, ISO 200
2. Back against the ground for this one --you know, the dangerous life of the macro photographer
f/8 @ 60 mm, 1/640, ISO 200
3. A softer look
f/4.5 @ 60 mm, 1/2000, ISO 200
4. An abstract approach (just couldn't help it)
f/4.5 @ 60 mm, 1/2500, ISO 200
All shot with Nikon D70s, handheld, no flash.
The learning curve looks steep from here...
