Preparing for liftoff

After almost zero activity, we started seeing some hummingbirds.
This one was being fairly cooperative but after a few minutes I noticed it was looking up a lot.
What I didn't see until I brought my head away from the camera was another hummingbird.
I caught this just before she launched herself for a high-speed, squeek-filled chase.

Their little heads are on a swivel, constantly looking. Nice sharp focus.
