It's a good shot, close-up with the subject in focus and pretty well isolated from the background. However, the background in some places is a little too bright and competes with the subject, especially the curved stem that goes out of the frame on the left. Cropping the sides would remove some of the distractions without removing anything important to the image; this is more of a vertical or square image than a horizontal.
