This is a great shot...

The lighting is perfect..."blacking and whiting" (haha) this photo would look like crap without the highlight on the right side of the plant. Good job on choosing which side to shoot

The reflection of the plant's shape in the background is framed perfectly.

I love this one.

I enjoy the exposure and the grain in the image.
For me, the background is a wee bit distracting. Not sure if more oof would make it better or just less of it. I am speeking more about the area directly behind the focused branch. The larger oof branch feels fine to me.
Anyway, just my thoughts...the image is certainly creative.
