Heil to you Photoforum ! This is my first post on this forum. Pleased to "meet" you. I'll soon have a trip in Germany. Mostly passing through. I want to buy some foto gear from there. some flashes, maybe some lenses if they worth it . can anyone tell me where can I find some shops?
Welcome to TPF! As for the shops, it really depends which city you are in. There are many smaller photography shops, some even family run. We also have chains like Calumet in some cities. As for large retailers, there is MediaMarkt and Saturn, they claim to be cheap, but they often are not. A lot of equipment in Germany is bought online these days. there are some reputed online dealers, some even belong to some of the smaller shops mentioned further above. So you are from Romania? Not sure if things are cheaper there, but Germany certainly is not cheap regarding photographic equipment. If your trip was to the US, you could save 20-40%
