The field has crappy lighting for 'pro' football. I would expect way cleaner results.

But the photos are in focus, nice and sharp, nicely timed!

It's a brand new stadium and they decided to drop two huge banks of lights when it was rebuilt, the light was better 30 years ago. There have been a lot of photographer complaints about it. We can't even shoot in the end zones as there are no lights. I have another game this Friday and am going to just bump the iso up to 4000 and go with that. It's really frustrating as the next three games are all at night, no day games.

It could also be working with the Mac I've only had for a week and haven't done enough editing with the new screen, now that I've had two people mention that two different shoots look dark, I'm guessing that the screen isn't helping. Thanks for letting me know, I need the input to sort it out.

I think you got a few spots where your black are clipping but other than that I don't see much wrong.

Why is the guy in a red blazer there?

That field has some very harsh shadows! Leaving out the lights makes it harder for photographers. Reducing contrast might help.

He did the honorary coin flip, they have someone different for each game.

That's some bizzaro lighting. To me in #5 and 6 the shadows seem less noticeable, maybe it was better from that vantage point. Superb detail, seeing scratches on a helmet and somebody's sweat(?) spritzing into the air helps give a sense of being there.
