Problem with Yongnuo 622C II

I like off-camera flash. So I have two 622C transceivers, one on-camera (no flash) and one off-camera (flash). The triggers seem to communicate with each other and the flash fires, but after an initial shot the exposure spikes (by a stop or two). I noticed on the speedlite that the focal length information is incorrect. When I have a 100mm lens mounted, it says 24mm. Is this normal? Would appreciate your advice.

what flash are you using?
is the flash set to TTL or is it manually set to 24mm?
