Problems with a CF card

Ok, So i have a Lexar Platinum II 8 gig Compact Flash card. I use a canon 50D. My problem is that when i shot either Raw or Jpeg, my files are becoming corrupted. I have formated it in my camera and even formated it on my computer. When I fire with my second card, I have no problems. Any suggestions?

You format your card on your PC rather than with the camera? Maybe the problem.

Don't know then. I asked about the Mac b/c I had problems in the past with CF and mine.

Intermittent faults are more frustrating in a way. If it happens continuously and yet you can format the card with another camera without problems, you have more to go on.

I'd be looking at the connector pin ports on the bad actor CF card.

In my view, Format it in Camera only. if you get any error then check the card on other camera. If the same problem persists
then you have to consult the Lexar Store.
