Thank you. 3 is a female scaup. Down here we call them blackheads or bluebills. Yep mess Ton of snows

love the beads of water clinging to the ducks face on #2. What focal length were these taken at? were you far from the birds?

Thank you very much. It was a 500mm with a 1.4 TC so 700mm. Not far at all. Right at the waters edge. Wind pushed them right up in the cove. I think someone was feeding them too which was bringing them in real close.

Great thanks for the info, did you have to push your ISO up for these shots or was the light sufficient?

Light was best it's been for weeks. Sunny clear all day so ISO was low and left alone ha.
