Progress in smartphone photography

I wanted to show how far smartphone photography has come. My wife purchased a few days ago a Vivo X80 Pro. I knew that it's able to shoot moonshots - among other things - and I didn't miss the chance to make a direct comparison with my point and shoot camera. I own a Nikon Coolpix P1000 which is particularly good in this sector. So the same night I took two photos. I must say that I did a slight post processing to the image that came from the camera. Not something terrible. I change the brightness a bit. It was too bright. A thing that the X80 did simultaneously at the time of shooting with its AI. You will notice the difference in quality between the two images. But you should take into account that one image came out from a phone with bigger sensor but tiny and less sharp lenses. The gap is not so big! And from a little research I saw that moonshots are similar with the X80 from Samsung S22 Ultra and Huawei P50 Pro more or less. Impressed to say the least!
