Congratulations! I'm sure you'll love it. My wife and I just passed the 1-year mark in our first home and we've been loving it.

I sure do envy you the mortgage payment estimated on the link you posted...and on 2.5 acres to boot. That's some market you have where you are. Our place is on a little over one acre at the foot of a small mountain. The selling point for my wife, though, was the 660 sq. ft. master suite.

Really well actually ... just as we suspected the only 'problems' are mostly cosmetic issues ... the home inspector figured we could sink $10K into it and probably make $50-60K off of it.

Makes us feel pretty good about what we're getting into anyways :mrgreen:


On an aside we found out that our offer only beat out the other offer by $2000 ... and the other guy was willing to go over $210K and we were as high as we wanted to go ... definately just barely managed to squeak by there ... thank GOD
