I climbed about 100ft up the side of a limestone outcrop and waited for my friend to walk into the line of sight. It was noon and the sun was blindingly bright. When I got it onto the computer I liked the washed out look (cos that was what it actually looked like).

Ok, I can take vacationing in the Qatar Desert off my bucket list.

Sorry, but this one isn't hitting a home run for me either. Actually it's not even getting to first base. I'm trying to think of a useful comment, but it's really just not very interesting.

That bit of desert is actually quite unique. The geology and erosion worked together over the last 22 million years to produce a site that yields a lot of marine fossils like shark teeth.

Anyway back to the photography drawing board.

Dont take it off the bucket list. Go for a walk in this area in August. I promise that the feeling of breathing air above 50 degrees Celsius (140 Fahrenheit) is a memorable one.

This is my feel as well. The photo doesnt really show me anything and its really hard to see what the subject is supposed to be. The shot seems oversharpened as well.
