quack quack

Went looking for eagles....found none. Found ducks instead. lol. Oh well, at least I got to shoot something that was not snow or a dead tree or brown grass...

This ones a pretty heavy crop and a bit soft...but still a cool duck.

Ah yes the old Anas platyrhynchos AKA (Greenhead Mallard) and the Lophodytes cucullatus AKA (Hooded Merganser) Great shots of both.

Ducks are my specialty. They are literally my day job.

Nice. The lady I went with travels around shooting wildlife. She found a duck she didn't know of....at that time anyway, I forget what it was now...but she was proud that she found it. I plan to make some circles with her getting different types of ducks this spring.

I really like the hoodies. I have a better shot somewhere from last fall, but I know a spot where they hang out, so I hope to get some more great ones this spring.

Nice. I like the second duck. In Estonian it's called "kübarkoskel". Try to pronounce that!

On first looking at this one I was seeing a very deep perspective with the horizon and sky in the background and was wondering how the hell you got that POV...then I realised it the 'horizon' was a reflection in a ripple. Funny how your eyes can trick you.

Lovely photos.
