The photo has very even exposure, given the light. It needs something to draw the viewer in though... Maybe if you would have gotten down to the left side of the curved water's edge to use that as a guide. Outstanding capture of the focal point: the clouds.

Looks like the sensor is a little dirty as well, here are spots in the blue sky
