Question about D60

Hi everyone, I'm back with another stupid question.


Why is it that my camera indicates I'm at F8 at all times when on full manual?

Because you probably are. Turning the dial only changes the shutter speed, you need to hold the exposure compensation button and turn the dial to change aperture (it has a little aperture logo next to it).

Ya, I read the manual when I first got the camera. I suppose some of it didn't stick. I've always been a very hands on learner .
