Hey all,
New to the forum, first post...
I'm a semi-serious amateur photographer, that specializes mostly in nature and sports photography. Long story short, I was presented an opportunity to shoot a local 4 day long fishing tournament for the company that puts the tournament on. I'm confident I'll be able to achieve the results they're looking for, but I'm honestly at a loss for how to approach the meeting next week. I don't know what is appropriate in terms of releases, cost (which I know varies widely so no real need to address, I'll figure that one out), contracts, etc...
This is a huge opportunity for me to get a foothold in the local area and get some real exposure. Don't really want to mess it up. Really just looking for any advice that anyone may have that could help me make this a success. Possible pitfalls to avoid, contracts, release forms, and the like.
thanks in advance!
Matt
