Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
ok so this just came to my attention...what screen brightness level do u Mac users edit ur pix on?

Is this really a mac specific question?

My recommendation: Do yourself a favor and get something to calibrate your monitor.

What would I use to do that and how would that help/ what does that mean?

My macbook pro isn't calibrated, but anytime I edit my shots ... my brightness is at 100%

Thanks, I didn't realize:

"increasing the brightness of your display too much can shorten its usable life span. You will likely not need to have your display at its maximum brightness if the room isn't too bright, if the display isn't back-lit (such as in front of a window) and if the display isn't too old."

Wow....I didn't know that...most of the time when I am just using it for regular use I use it on the dimmest setting....when editing i usually increase the brightness some (about half) I wasnt sure how that affected what I am seeing as opposed to what is really there color and exposure-wise....
